real food, real flavor, real life.
Shrimp & eggs, doesn’t that sound good? Just the words make your mouth water. When you’re cooking this dish, close your eyes, take a deep breath and inhale the lovely combination of aromas. The tender, succulent shrimp mixes with the gooey raw egg as it fries to perfection on the stove top. The dish finishes under the broiler to form a slightly crisp exterior that cracks when you cut through it with your knife. The good thing is this shrimp and egg dish is easy to make. It literally takes minutes to prepare and cook, yet, it tastes delicious and looks elegant and sophisticated. Add some tomatoes, green onions, chili flakes for a little kick-in-the-butt heat, fresh herbs such as oregano and finish with a sprinkling of Feta cheese. You have a healthy lunch or dinner that will keep you satisfied. Enjoy!

Real Food First
This recipe is made with shrimp, eggs, tomato, green onion, olive oil, oregano, chili flakes, and feta. It is simple, fresh, and built from recognizable ingredients. No processed sauces, no fillers, no nonsense pretending to be flavor.
Build and Keep Muscle
Shrimp and eggs provide high-quality protein, which supports muscle repair and maintenance. This is especially important in midlife, when keeping muscle becomes a daily investment rather than something the body just generously hands over for free.
Healthy Fats
Olive oil adds unsaturated fat, while eggs provide naturally occurring fats that help make the dish satisfying. Feta adds richness and flavor, so a small amount goes a long way.
Low in Added Sugar
This recipe contains no added sugar. The natural sweetness comes from the tomato and green onion, while the flavor comes from herbs, chili, feta, and the shrimp itself.
Plant-Forward Support
Although this is a protein-rich dish, the tomato, green onion, oregano, and chili flakes bring color, freshness, and plant compounds. Add a side salad or extra vegetables and the MW&B plate becomes even stronger.
Daily Movement Support
This dish is light but satisfying, making it a strong lunch or dinner option. It gives you protein and healthy fat without weighing you down. Add whole-grain toast, roasted potatoes, quinoa, or greens if you need more energy after training or a busy day.
Reduce Harmful Inputs
Cooking this at home allows you to control the oil, salt, cheese, and portion size. It avoids highly processed breakfast meats, heavy cream, bottled sauces, and packaged convenience foods.
Assessment and Adjustment
This recipe is easy to adjust. Use less feta if watching sodium. Add spinach, mushrooms, zucchini, or peppers for more vegetables. Serve with avocado for more healthy fat, or pair with sourdough toast if you need more carbohydrates.
Healthy Skepticism
This dish does not need to be marketed as “keto,” “clean,” “detox,” or any other label humans invented to make dinner sound like homework. It is simply a balanced, protein-rich meal made with real food.

Chef Mark Note
This is one of those recipes that feels far more elegant than the effort required. The shrimp cooks quickly, the eggs bring richness, the tomato adds freshness, and the feta gives that salty finish. The chili flakes wake everything up without hijacking the dish.
Serve it straight from the pan, warm and slightly crisp from the broiler. Simple food, cooked properly, with plenty of flavor. That is exactly what MW&B is about.
